Correct MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Forrest River 31QBH with 5,200 lb Lippert Axles

Updated 11/14/2023 | Published 11/11/2023

Question:

Looking at the MoRyde CRE 3000 system. I note to measure ones axles for either the 33 inch or 35 inch. I have a Forrest River 31QBH with Lipper 5200# dual axles. As if following Murphys law, my axles measure almost 34 inch to top dead center. Im perplexed. What would be the best one to use? Now I feel I need that eye to eye measurement of the spring connection to get more information. As with the MoRydes, we are also wanting to upgrade the springs and that measurement may clue me in. Even though I don't see any flattening of the springs, they are 14+ year old springs has me wondering if they have gone just flat enough that I'm probably a 33" shackle but it's now stretched to 34". If not, then what am I missing? Center stud from the front shackle to the center stud of the rear shackle is 59" to the "T" and I have 27" springs.

Thank you so much for all off the information!

All of the things you found mean you need the 33" Wheelbase MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR87ZR. Since your current leaf springs are 14+ years old that would explain why your wheelbase is measuring a little wider. Over time leaf springs will wear out and extend a little so 14 years will definitely do what you're seeing.

To replace your leaf springs the closest we have to what you're looking for is our 6-Leaf Double Eye Spring rated for 6K which comes with the following finishes:

- Black Powder Coat # e94SR
- Silver Dacromet # e88SR

The Black Powder Coat is your standard leaf spring while the Dacromet is an upgraded version that is much more resistant to the elements.
