Question:

I am looking for a spare leaf spring and U bolt kit. I have a 2017 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS fifth wheel. The axles are Lippert 6,000 lbs tandem with leaf springs with 4 leaves and 26inch eye to eye. I am not seeing any leaf springs that match on your website, so I wanted to check that this all sounds correct.

For a 6K axle you can use the CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5.2K to 7K, Round Trailer Axles # CE23003. We don't currently offer a four leaf trailer leaf spring with a 6K capacity and 26" eye-to-eye measurement, but we do offer the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long # e94SR.

The amount of leaves in the stack doesn't really matter as long as your capacity and and eye-to-eye measurement is the same. Each leaf on your current leaf springs is just stiffer so you have a harsher progression while one with more leaves will have a softer progression.

I get that you're wanting to have an extra set on hand in the event that one breaks on the road but you should really replace both sets of leaf springs on the axle at the same time to avoid any issues. The other leaf spring on the axle is going to be worn in a bit and mixing it with a new one can throw of the suspension.
