Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 2023 Ford Ranger

Hi I was looking at purchasing two curt products for my 2023 ford ranger. The first is the 7 way harness, my truck has the factory 4 pin trailer harness and plug but I wanted to know for the seven way would I purchase with factory tow package or without the factory tow package kits? Second is the curt Bluetooth trailer brake controller would it work fine for my truck? Thank you

It's the same harness for both. That's just how its categorized on our website. To add a 7-way to your 2023 Ford Ranger you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56431. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Ranger's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's side rear bumper.
I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C67UR to secure the 7-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller item # C51180 would be a great option for set up. The Echo plugs directly into your Ranger's 7-Way connector and allows you to control the settings through an app on your phone. It uses Bluetooth to communicate with your phone so you will never have to worry about losing signal. If your phone dies it automatically uses the default settings you program in.
