Question:

Im adding C57672, the Curt 4-way to 7-way adapter to the 56407 4-way. Can I use one 12 gauge wire to power them both, with fuses, or would it be better to run a second 12 gauge wire?

You actually don't have to run a power wire to the Curt 7-way adapter part # C57672 unless you need the circuit for like a battery charge or interior/exterior lighting on the trailer. If you don't have a need for that you can leave that circuit unconnected.

Otherwise I would have to recommend using a separate wire from the converter box power circuit. One easier solution would be the # 10-2-1 which is a double bonded 10 gauge wire that basically allows you to run one wire but it's really two wires connected.
