4-Way to 7-Way Adapter for Trailer Light Functions

Question:
My Vehicle has a 4-Pin Trailer Plug, but Trailer has 7-Pin Trailer Plug. Is there an adapter for just pulling the trailer a few times without having to rewire anything. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out, Jack!
What I recommend using is the Curt Adapter # C57672 and securing it to your vehicle with the No-Drill Bracket # 18136. This gives you the ability to seamlessly use either the 4-Way or 7-Way connection but doesn't require you to wire up the 7-Way to be fully functional.
For a quick solution we have the Hopkins Adapter # HM54RV, but this won't have any support for the connectors so I see them wearing down so I don't recommend going that route.

Hey Jack, how did the Curt adapter and bracket setup work out for your trailer connection? Did it give you the flexibility you needed without having to rewire anything? Your update could make it easier for others facing the same plug mismatch.
