The easiest to install brake controller to use with the 4-way to 7-way adapter # C57672 is the Curt Echo Mobile controller part # C51180 which would require you to only complete the black wires circuit of the adapter and you'd be set. You'd need to run the black wire to the positive post of your battery with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like # 9510 and you'd be set.
What makes the Echo so easy is the fact that all you have to do is plug it into a functioning 7-way and once synced to a smart phone is ready to be used. Traditional controllers require quite a bit of wiring and have to permanently mount on the vehicle dash. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
