Question:
If using NOCO battery chargers and maintainers on a travel trailer, do I need to disconnect my trailer cables to the battery in order to charge and maintain the battery?
asked by: Josh
Expert Reply:
No, you do not need to disconnect the trailers battery cables in order to install a NOCO battery charger like the # 329-GENIUS2. You just connect the red clamp to the positive terminal, then connect the black to the negative terminal or on the campers frame. The charger can be installed and left connected to the battery at all times to provide maintenance charging.
