Question:
I just installed this sway bar on my 2021 f250 6.2V8 4x4. The truck had no factory rear sway bar. The instructions are a bit vague regarding the placement of the end links in relation to the brackets. Does it go on the inside or outside? The first picture in the instructions shows it on the outside closer to the leaf spring but others show it on the inside closer to the differential.

Thanks for reaching out TY, happy to help!
I can see how the Hellwig Adjustable Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bar # HE94FR instructions would be confusing. The first illustration is intended to show the assembly steps, so it can make it look like the end links install on the outside of the brackets.
In the final installed position, the end links should be mounted on the inside of the sway bar brackets, toward the differential.
Great decision going with the anti-sway bar, this is a great addition. I'd like to know how much of a difference it made from before and after installing.
If you're in the middle of the install and something still doesn't look quite right, just let us know. We'd be happy to help make sure everything is installed correctly.

I installed this sway bar on a 2022 Ford F350 which didn’t have any factory installed sway bar. I have a permanently mounted Four wheel camper(project M) on the truck and it’s a night and day difference! Very happy! Emile

Installed this anti-sway bar on my 2024 Ford F350 and like yours, my truck did not come with a rear anti-sway bar. For some reason for Ford decided to stop installing anti-sway bars at the factory after 2018. My initial F350 was a 2018 and it came with one, the difference when towing between the 2018 and 2024 F350's was night and day. I tow a Montana 3791RD Fifthwheel that has a dry weight of 13500+ pounds and an allowable weight on 16900 pounds. During my first trip using my 2024 I was all over the place, I was looking at everything trying to figure out what was going on. I had to get a new fifth wheel plate for the 2024 so I thought it might be that, made a few adjustments and was still having issues. When we made it to our camping site I was scratching my head and wishing I would have kept my 2018 and just repaired it. Then I started going through the trucks manual, the yawl and pitch and sway control, I finally looked under the truck and realized it didn't have an anti-sway bar, I called the dealer where I purchased the truck and asked about it. I was told they no longer instal them at the factory and if I wanted they would order one and install it for me, the cost was about 3 times the amount of the Hellwig. I immediately ordered the Hellwig Rear Anti-Sway Bar installation took about an hour and a half to two hours by myself in my carport. While installing it I had a few question, then once I got the brackets and bar mounted it fell into place, the bar goes to the inside of the links closer to the differential. If you let the links hang and swing the bar up to them they naturally hang on the outside. I started with my ride adjustment in the middle hole, it has worked out well for me, the ride is not to stiff when not towing and there is no sway while towing. Once installed make sure you check the clearances and that you torque the fasteners to the required torque specifications, after your test drive re-torque them. I check mine twice a year or prior to a long road trip. Enjoy the new and more comforting ride.
