This Genius smart charger removes the frustration of having to own multiple devices to charge different battery types and vehicles. Just attach the battery clamps to the vehicle's battery terminals, select a charging mode to match your application, and wait for the LED indicator to signal that the battery is completely charged. It's that simple.
This Genius smart charger was designed to provide a simple, user-friendly experience. The mode button allows you to easily cycle through the unit's charge settings. Back-lit LED indicators let you verify that the unit is operating correctly, and they allow it to be easily operated at night. These indicators signal the unit's charge status, selected charging mode, and alert you to potential performance issues or errors.
This allows you to identify if the battery voltage is too high or too low for your selected mode, or detect a reversed polarity connection to a battery.
This Genius 2-amp smart charger has 5 selectable charging modes that let you quickly switch between charging different lead-acid and lithium-ion battery types at different voltages. Traditional battery chargers generally only work with a specific voltage or battery type, like lithium-ion or AGM batteries, or only in special circumstances like charging in cold environments. This Genius smart charger gives you the versatility to tackle different battery types and charging situations in one charger.
The image above details the available charging profiles. The charger works with 6V and 12V wet cell, gel cell, enhanced flooded, calcium, maintenance-free, AGM, and 12V lithium-ion batteries with battery management systems (BMS).
The Genius 2-amp can detect and charge batteries that have been drained to 1-volt. And by activating the Force Mode, the charger can even charge dead batteries with 0-volts. Traditional chargers can't detect a battery when the voltage drops below a certain level. To activate Force Mode hold the mode button down for 5 seconds.
The needle-nosed battery clamps included with this Genius smart charger are designed to easily connect to battery terminals of all shapes and sizes. Unlike typical, plastic battery clamps, these clamps are constructed entirely of metal, ensuring maximum conductivity. The clamps are covered with an over-molded plastic housing, which makes them easy to operate even with work gloves on. A built-in 10-amp fuse protects your connection against dangerous overloads.
1/4" Eyelet connectors can be unbolted from the clamps for direct mounting to terminals on hard-to-reach batteries. The lie-flat design ensures maximum contact with terminals to optimize current transfer.
This Genius smart charger plugs into an available wall outlet to quickly charge and maintain your battery. High-frequency switch-mode technology converts AC power into safe DC power to fully charge batteries. An onboard microcomputer monitors and controls this charging process to minimize power loss and maximize efficiency. The included mounting bracket with hook-and-loop strap lets you mount the unit in an enclosed compartment, garage, or workspace.

The Genius2 smart charger comes with over-molded connection points to protect the unit from dirt, dust, and water. The unit has an IP65 rating, meaning the housing is considered "dust tight" and protected against water sprayed from a nozzle. A durable X-connect plug ensures a weathertight connection when attaching the clamps to the charger.
The housing is made from tough Lexan resin that protects the internal electronics against impacts. The unit can handle being dropped, kicked over, and just about anything else your day brings.
This Genius smart charger features a unique X-Connect plug that lets you disconnect the battery clamps and attach other X-Connect accessories (all sold separately) for versatile plug-and-play charging solutions. Add an extension cord to increase your connections reach, or use the 12V female plug to connect and power 12V accessories. Access your vehicle's battery through charging ports with the OBDII connector, or the 12V male plug. With a large variety of available accessories this battery charger can be outfitted to meet your application's specific charging needs.

Both the charger and battery it's attached to are doing GREAT. You can't fail with a NOCO charger. We use them exclusively for our High Value Projects and Systems.

It's the best, I use it all the time on different cars.
Excellent trickle charger. Used several times to keep our stored car battery fully charged. We have left it on the charger for 4 months with great results.
I have a couple of these, I rotate them both around to keep all my battery's topped off,
I like em, they been in use pretty much constantly for a year now.

Having used THE NOCO Genius2 battery charger for greater than 1 years, I can say that I am completely satisfied with form and function of the device. I use the charger to maintain fresh battery charge for my RV trailer. I like the compact, portability and weight of the unit. The indicator lights keep me informed of the battery charge status. I consider this purchase as one of my best purchases of all my RV gear. Thanks for an excellent product.
Works as advertised. Quality product, simple operation. Especially like how the system remembers the last battery type setting for each of the 4 banks of chargers. I bought several more Noco chargers after this one.
Because of great demands on marine batteries these days with electronics and trolling motors, it is important to maintain their voltages when not in use. The Noco Genius Smart Battery Charger-2 amp not only charges the battery back up but also maintains it so you are always ready to go. Built for marine conditions this little charger takes up miniumum space and is easy to use with nicely made gator clips and a long detachable cord making connecting time a snap. Bright LED lights let you know where this trickle charger is in the cycle and flashes a green light when done and in maintenance mode. The instruction booklet is helpful but use a magnifier to catch all the details in the fine print. Everyone needs this little device to keep 12 volt batteries fresh and ready to go and e-Trailer has one for your car or recreational need!
I bought two of the Noco 2 amp battery maintainers and am pleased with both. Using them outside in a dry location to maintain car batteries. Convenient connect/disconnect and easy to read and understand status LEDs.
For over a year now this little NOCO charger has kept the starting battery ready to go on our diesel backup generator. Before the NOCO we had to jump start it almost every time.
Just added this one to my “fleet” of NOCO chargers, has kept my group of Antique tractor 6 volt batteries alive for several years instead of replacing them almost every year. I don’t and won’t own anything else! They are the best!
Great equipment. Robust construction so it will last. Does agreed job of keeping camping trailer charged.

Good,but it does boil off battery fluid on my Yuasa battery. I have the charger on a timer to operate once a week for 3 hours to keep the batteries topped up, without fluid loss.
When I got the charger the switch wasn't working so I contacted customer service and a new unit was shipped right away. Got my new one hooked up and it's working great. Great service!

Best thing we ever did
I had a little trouble with the shipping. My package did not show up. I tracked it and it said delayed delivery. I then forgot about it. Then when I needed the product to use, I realized it never showed up. I called Etrailer and spoke with Lauren, she tracked it while I was on the phone. It showed not delivered. Lauren said she would contact the shipping company to ask about it. And if got good answers would reship my product. And said she was sorry for the shippers delay. Well I got the new product the next day. Etrailer really cared and took care of the issue quick. Thank you Lauren! Great customer service!
