Differences Between Curt and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receivers For a 2023 Ford Ranger?
Question:
What is the difference between your receiver and the Curt receiver?

The only difference between our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e63ZR and the Curt # C13417 for your 2023 Ford Ranger is the finish. Our receiver is manufactured by Curt as we selected them for their outstanding quality and attention to detail. While their receiver has a gloss black powder coat finish we have our receiver finished in a matte black powder coat finish. I personally feel the matte black is a better finish which has a more factory appearance.
I recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22124 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 7-way connector and will also allow for a Brake Controller # RED52VR if you are towing a trailer with electric brakes.
