The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13417 is a custom fit for Ford Rangers and will bolt directly to your vehicle without any welding. The Curt has a 30 min estimated installation time. It is a class III hitch receiver with a

Maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs
Maximum GTW when used with weight distribution of 8,000 lbs
Maximum tongue weight of 900 lbs
Maximum TW when used with weight distribution of 900 lbs

Them the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # DT73GR. It has a 40 min estimated installation time. It is also custom fit and a class III receiver but it has higher capacities than the Curt

You need to decide if the easier installation of the Curt is more important or if the extra capacity of the Draw-Tite is more important. I would recommend the Draw-Tite # DT73GR.
