The Curt EZr Double Lock is the newer version of the Double Lock system. Both of these will definitely fit your 2012 Chevy Silvedrado 3500 with the 6.5" foot bed and I have install videos linked below. Specs are identical between them with 30,000 pounds towing and 7,500 pounds of vertical load capacities and both have a Lifetime warranty. However, the EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C611-624 consists of parts # C60611 and # C60624 whereas the Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C607-604 consists of parts # C60604 and # C60607.
We do say the EZr # C611-624 is a bit easier of an install than the Double Lock # C607-604, but to be honest, they really aren't that different when you get down to the nitty-gritty. If it were me, I would go with the lesser expensive option at the time.
Just as a potential add on, you may also want to check out the Curt 4" Offset Ball # C602. These are designed for trucks with the shorter beds to help add a bit more clearance when towing.
