The trailer hitch that I recommend for a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e62TR. The etrailer hitch has a bolt-on install so you can do it yourself without worrying about modifying the vehicle, comes with a 2" receiver which provides you with the widest variety of hitch mounted accessories to choose from, and it has a hidden cross tube design which will provide the best overall aesthetics. In order to complete your towing setup you'll also need a wiring harness for which I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56208 because it has a plug-in play install and a ball mount/hitch ball for which I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit part # C45534 because it's all inclusive.
