I'm looking for a recommendation for a receiver hitch for my 2026 RAV4 Hybrid XLE with 3,500- towing capacity, as well as a wiring harness guaranteed to work with this specific car.

Hey Ron, congrats on the new SUV. To add a hitch and a wiring harness to your 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, I recommend the Curt Hitch item # C34FR62ZY and the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236.
The Curt Hitch item # C34FR62ZY is custom fit for the brand new 2026 RAV4's. It fits all models including your Hybrid XLE. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver, that will definitely match the 3,500 lbs towing capacity of your RAV4. It comes with all of the necessary hardware to complete the installation.
The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 is currently the only option available to add a 4-way connector to your 2026 RAV4. As of 07/18/2026 no one has released a plug in wiring harness. This is guaranteed to work with your RAV4 and has been successfully installed. Your SUV uses a PWM Pulse Width Modulation electrical system, which is common on hybrids. The converter item # C59236 is designed specifically for it.
