how to know what replacement brake part will fit

It sounds like you might be searching for some replacement electric trailer braking assemblies or possibly just replacement parts. It's typically not much less cost effective to just replace the entire assembly so that's what I recommend. I have a few options for you to help with identifying the brakes on your trailer. The first and easiest method would be to crawl under the trailer and look for the axle tag on the beam. This should give an axle capacity which we can then use to find the braking assemblies based off industry standards. For example, a 3,500 lb axle uses the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
I have also attached a link with list of our braking assembly selection.
