I have a Dexter K23-459-00 Brake assembly. Will this Hub kit TRU38AV work with this brake assembly?

Hi Bradley,
The TruRyde Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K or 6K axle's part # TRU38AV will work with your Dexter K23-459-00 brake assembly. The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric brakes part # 23-459 are 12" x 2" and the TruRyde Hub and Drum part # TRU38AV works with both electric and hydraulic 12" x 2" drum brake assemblies.
I would double check that your axle has the correct #42 spindles that these hubs are designed to work with and that these are same bearings as what is in your current hub. If you can tell me the hub number that is pressed into the face of the hub, I can double check and make sure the TRU38AV will be a suitable replacement for your axle.

I would be cautious of the pre-greased bearings. I ordered this same hub assembly and the bearings didn’t have enough grease. I contacted e-trailer and they sent me a new set of seals so that I could remove the seal and inner bearing and pack it properly. The kit does seem to be a good quality but there was a noticeable difference in the weight of the aftermarket hubs and the original Dexter hubs that were a bit heavier.
