Question:
Hello! My spindle has a flat for the nut retainer using the wire cage . This spindle is not drilled for a cotter key. Should I just re-use the retainer nut?

Expert Reply:
Yes, if the retainer nut is in good shape you can use all of the other components of the Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and Al-Ko Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle # BK2-100 and not worry about the tang washer and cotter pin.
If the spindle nut isn't in good shape then you can replace those parts as well with the Spindle Nut Kit for EZ Lube Axles # RG05-100.
Attached is an installation video of the bearing kit and a review video of the spindle nut kit for you to check out.
