Is Fuse Needed on Motorhome and 2005 Honda Element for 12V Charge Line Power Circuit

I plan to hook up my 2005 Element to my 99 Minnie Winnie utilizing a Demco SM99251 braking system. Rv has a standard 6 way socket including a back up light connection I propose to replace the backup light circuit with a new hot lead from the RVs battery into the socket to power the Demco 66VR battery charge kit. Do I need a fuse on the new line Im installing in the RV or will the 66Vr take care of that?

It's a good idea to have both sides of the 12V power circuit connected so for your application I recommend using the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-75 which includes an auto-reset circuit breaker for your motorhome and then the fuse that comes with the Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit # DM66VR is going to protect the battery on your 2005 Honda Element.
This is a great way to ensure the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 doesn't drain the battery on your Honda Element.
I do recommend swapping out the 6-Way on your motorhome to a 7-Way like the Hopkins # HM48480 or Pollak # PK11898 instead of just adding the 12V power to the center pin of your 6-Way because 7-Way connectors are much more common for towing than 6-Ways. This will make it easier to tow a trailer with your motorhome if the need ever arises in the future. If you do end up going with the 7-Way then you can use the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-1676-7 on your Element and you'll tie in the 12V power to the center pin on the 6-Way side but that leads to the standard 12V power pin on the 7-Way (see attached photo).
