I suppose it's possible for the gap to be close between the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR250SDF and your 2010 Ford F-250 truck bed with a smaller cargo load in your bed but I think there are some factors to consider as well like is the load evenly distributed or is it directly over where the Timbrens sit, what is the condition of your OEM suspension (a worn out suspension won't hold up as well), and do you have anything else in your bed (like a loaded toolbox) prior to the 250 lb load.

If the bed is empty and it looks like your OEM suspension is struggling with a smaller load then I'd take it in to a shop to look at your suspension as you want to be relying more on the OEM than the Timbren kit.
