Checking or adjusting air pressure is easy with the Firestone Air Command Standard Duty Air Compressor. It connects to your smartphone over Bluetooth so your phone becomes the controller. The free Firestone Air Command app works with iPhone or Android, giving you full visibility and control of your air springs right on the screen. No separate remote or in-cab gauge is needed—just open the app to inflate or deflate as you go.
When you’re towing or hauling, you want your suspension to respond evenly. The single-path setup keeps both air springs at the same pressure, so you get a smooth, level ride without having to match pressures manually. Whether the truck is loaded or empty, the system maintains equal pressure for consistent handling and stability.
The standard-duty 12-volt compressor delivers up to 100 psi with a 13-amp draw and a 9% duty cycle, ideal for occasional towing or light-load use. It moves air quickly—0-30 psi in about 17 seconds and 0-60 psi in 42 seconds, with a flow rate of 0.32 CFM at 100 psi. The small footprint (7-5/8" long x 2-1/8" widex4-7/8" tall) makes it easy to mount under the bed or along the frame while still standing up to moisture, salt spray, and road chemicals.
The system comes ready to mount with the electronic control unit, air line, fittings, wiring harness, mounting plate, and hardware. The 17' wiring harness gives flexible routing options, and the ECU can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle. Once wired, simply pair your phone and you’re ready to adjust pressures on demand.
This light-duty, tank-free setup keeps things simple. You don’t have to worry about managing an air reservoir or carrying an extra remote. The app handles pressure changes directly through your phone, so you can fine-tune your suspension whenever the load changes—quickly, quietly, and without added bulk.

Installation was pretty easy. I love that it keeps my air pressure at my setpoint at all times. Changing pressure on the APP is super easy too.
Works great. I have a camper so around 3k lbs and run 90lbs in the bags. In the heat of the summer and on a long road trip, the compressor worked as advertised.
Let's of app problems at first but those seem to be worked out. I dont use it much. Maybe 2 or 3 days a month and after anout 2.5yrs the module has gone out and won't communicate. Do you sell or have the replacement module part # available? Would think something as expensive as this would last a little longer with the limited use.
All works as planned. Etrailer installed and confident they help with the ride pulling our 5th wheel.
Had to fight with Firestone to get a replacement motor already poor design also had to tee off so I can use compress air if and when it fails again I have backup
I am satisfied with them. My only concern is at low pressures, the air bags do not hold air. When empty and have pressure at 7-8 psi, everytime I start the vehicle it needs to pump them back up. At higher pressure, they hold pressure.
I was looking for an Air LIft compressor system, but they were sold out everywhere. I called e-trailer and Kelly helped me find one that would work. I got the Firestone Air Command system which works great. The instructions are clear as to how to hook up the system and the wiring harness was very easy to connect. The only thing that I didn't like was there was no instruction or suggestion as to where to mount the components under the truck. Fortunately there are many videos online to figure it out. As an added bonus it arrived 6 days early.
Installed on a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Diesel. I must say the upper clamps and mounting to the jounce plates are way to tight to allow for securing the top of the air bag nut to the upper bracket. Very hard to get a wrench or socket all the way on the nut which is 1 1/8". I had to actually not tighten the 4 set bolts until I got the top air bag nut tight. Then it was very difficult to tighten the nuts for the 4 set bolts. In hide sight I should have removed the outside clamp bracket and grinded down to allow for proper clearance. When I first did the left side I thought maybe they missed the machining by an 1/8 of an inch, but it was the same on the right side. 2 hour job turned into a 4 hour job. This is not my first rodeo, I have been a Diesel Heavy duty truck technician for 40 years. This is what happens when you purchase a product that fits multiple years and models.

Sorry to hear that you had a difficult time with the install Michael! I agree, the brackets on the Firestone airbags are not the greatest. When installing it is why I prefer the Air Lift, they have more parts to their brackets which take a little longer to put together but easier to maneuver into the frame. If we could just take the good parts from the Firestone and put them with the good parts from Air Lift, we could create the perfect bags. What kind of load are you hauling that you need the extra help?

System is relatively easy to install, but the tubing and fittings tend to leak. Otherwise no issue with the pump or app.

There are a couple of things you can do that can help with the leaks. One would be to double check connections and make sure things are properly installed and another is making sure your lines are squarely cut. Part # AL10530 is a great tool that can help ensure you get that clean ninety degrees which helps get a better fit when attaching the lines.
This is the 2nd truck I put on a Firestone rear air suspension kit. I like using the smartphone gauge and presets. I pull a 16.5K fiver with a 2018 GMC dually. Great ride.
Purchased this compressor and the Firestone heavy duty airbags for my 2500hd. It was a gamechanger towing our 13000 lb 5th wheel. It made the ride much more comfortable and stopped the truck from squatting.
Product was easy to install with little to no difficulty. Purchase was smooth and the actual price compared to the rest of the competitors on the market was very fair. Shipping of the product was fairly quick with no issues. Kit was complete and in order. Only suggestion I would have to make this product better and more DIY orientated is to include a simple multi piece universal mounting bracket for securely mounting the unit on the frame of the vehicle. Overall I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this to others.
The Ride-Rites have worked great on my 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 3.0L Duramax. I use them when pulling my steel 17' flatbed with a tractor on board, with no sag at all running 35lbs of pressure. My only complaint is that the android app is a bit wonky sometimes and doesn't want to connect to the compressor. Other than that occasional annoyance, I would definitely recommend them.
When i first installed this it seemed to work well. Unfortunately, over time, I have had to chase leaks that have popped up and the bags have worn holes from rubbing the coils. As leaks began to pop up, it brought to light that the controller does not default to its last setting, requiring the app to be reopened and the settings turned back on. Worked great at first, not happy long term.
It's not hard to install if you have mechanical abilities. I don't like to drill in the plastic on the interior, so I didn't want a switch or gauge hanging off the dash so the Bluetooth feature is great. I purchased some extra airline and mounted the compressor and other various parts inside my toolbox in the bed. I've done that with previous pickups I've owned. It's a little more work and materials, but I think it keeps everything cleaner and I don't have to worry about snow and dirt building up on the compressor.
After one year using Firestone Air Lift bags and compressor,I’m as satisfied as the day I purchased. it was an easy install and has worked very well for my purpose. I wanted a little extra support on my 2500 HD it has provided me service with no issues. I would highly recommend this product. in the future and would purchase again if needed
ECU wiring was backwards fromt he factory. the yellow (switchable hot) and red (constant hot) were int he connector pin locations reversed. Because of this, the ECU was backfeeding power to my fuse box through the switchable connection. ECU has totally failed within 5 days.
How many stars (1-5, 5 being Excellent) would you give the product: 4 ½ on both items
Product Review: Installed the Firestone Air Command Compressor system and Firestone Ride-Rite helper rear Air Bags on my 2020 F-250 Super Duty (Lariat Sport Edition).
The install was pretty straight forward and took 5 hours for all components.
Put my truck up on the rack and removed factory jounce bumper and installed the upper bracket of the air spring with no issues.
Installed bottom bracket and bag again with no issues (Pic drivers side bag).
Had to make a slight cut out to the bottom axle strap bracket on the passenger side to account for brake line (Pic passenger side axle bracket).
Ran all airlines (had to remove spare tire for easy access) to the passengers side frame. Mounted the compressor and control unit to the passenger side frame (Pic Compressor mount)
Covered all airlines with 1/2" wire loom to protect the lines. Checked all connections and no leaks.
Downloaded Air Command App and tested the system.
I have not had any issues pulling my 16,000 lb 5th wheel over the past year.(Pic Truck camper)
Overall I am very impressed with the system I installed and the great customer service I received when ordering the product!
Super-fast shipping and great communication from etrailer, as always. Straightforward install if you're okay with this type of work. So far seems to work as advertised. The iPhone app can be slow to link to the ECU at times, and occasionally crashes, hopefully that will be fixed in an update.

Overall, satisfied. But a few long-term issues: App is still buggy, there have been updates but it still crashes on occasion. Also, leaks are harder to track down than on standard airbags.
Installed as adjunct to the airspring kit previously reviewed. Without actually using this for a while, I cannot speak to the longevity of the system, but initial my impression is that this should be durable. Deciding where and how to route the various components is the critical part, the actual installation is relatively easy. A few additional 'bits' in the hardware package would be appreciated, as dropped screws and nuts vanish when fumbled during assembly.

Still happy with this compressor and the system as a whole.
While the Firestone airbags are great, this Air Command system sucks. I wanted a system with a remote, but I couldn't find one in stock. The smartphone app is the problem. It isn't reliable and I frequently have to reboot my phone to get it to connect.

The first 8 months I struggled with the Android app. 4 months ago I switched to an iPhone and downloaded the app - No issues.
After a year of use I am still very impressed with the reliability and functionality of these bags. The Bluetooth compatibility of the compressor unit which allows the user to increase or decrease pressure via the phone app is great, no wiring to run into the cab, or mounting a control head under the dashboard is fantastic. Run these at 10psi for everyday driving with no noticeable change in the ride of the truck. I only have to air them up to 40psi to stiffen the suspension perfectly when towing my 34’ travel trailer. Would recommend this product within it hesitation!

Love the Bluetooth phone app for this compressor. No wires or air tubes to run into and mount in the cab. The ability to change the air pressure on demand is awesome. Can lower the pressure back to 10psi for normal ride after ping our fifth wheel trailer, then air them back up to 55psi when hooking up and getting ready to road out. Would highly recommend purchasers consider this setup when evaluating their needs.
The pump has been in place now for 4 months. It was easy to install and it paired with my Android phone without an issue. I placed it in a rear storage compartment of a 31 foot Class C. Easily connects from the driver's seat or outside in the front of the Coach.

Glad to hear the compressor is working for your needs, Larry! How often are you out on an adventure with your camper?

Great little air compressor for my 2014 Ram 2500. Nice fit under the bed. Made the truck ride better when towing my fifth wheel and when empty

I am glad the app issues worked themselves out, but I am sorry to hear about the communication error now. We do have a replacement ECU system for that kit # F2610 that would be a direct replacement. The ECU system is just a fancy way of saying the "brain" of the unit that keeps all working and communicating together.
