Question:
Hello, I have a 95 Jeep YJ and want to add a BX88230 to the front stock bumper U shape and buy an Alpha 2 to tow behind a Class A. Q: Will the BX88230 and Alpha 2 work together or will I need an adapter? Q2: What else will I need brake light wiring kit, a 7 to 4 pin to connect the lights, tow chains, cover, etc.? Thx.

With your 1995 Jeep YJ having a stock bumper I recommend using the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1137. This kit will bolt to your frame which is much stronger than your thin bumper. The Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate Bracket Kit # BX88230 you found is designed to be used with stronger aftermarket bumpers that are capable of supporting the vehicles full weight.
Both the kits above will accept the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380 without any adapters.
You will need the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-1676-7 to operate your tail lights on your Jeep when it is connected to your motorhome. This kit will also allow you to use a Charge Line # RM-156-25 to ensure your battery is not fully depleted by your supplemental braking system.
I recommend using the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400. This will operate the brakes on your Jeep to prevent excessive wear on your motorhome brakes. It is also required by law to have by most states.
