The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C27DR is currently the receiver with the best ground clearance for your 2023 Mazda CX-50.This receiver has a 1-1/4" receiver moving it just slightly higher than the 2" Receiver # C38BR which is also manufactured by Curt.
I recommend installing the Wiring Harness # C45FV when you install the receiver. This will provide you with a 4-way connector for connecting to the tail lights on most small trailers you might pull. It can also be used for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your hitch mounted accessory impairs the vies of the tail lights on your Mazda.
