Tried to edit my previous review, but could not find it. Just had to write another saying etrailer fixed my product issues, Although they didnt email me letting me know they did. Was left in the dark as far as if my hitch was going to be replaced, but in the end a new one showed up today.
Super easy to install, I didn't run into any issues at all. The directions were straight forward and I do love the fact that its all direct plug. I have had this wiring harness for a year now and its still running strong. I am very please with the product.

It seems to be a well made kit, although the double sided mounting pad for the controller was dried out and useless. It must have been on the shelf for awhile.
Installation went well, and the video on this site was very helpful.
I did go a bit further, and used Noalox Anti-Oxidant Compound in the crimps and covered them with heat shrink tubing.
Curt T connector wiring kit arrived with the hitch(gave review for hitch already). Watch and followed video for installing wiring kit. Had no problems, great instructions. I went extra slow because I am not much of a wiring guy.
Spoke with Shawn B on the phone and within just a few seconds had clarification on the wiring I needed. She was awesome, friendly and courteous. The wiring harness fits perfectly, easily wired and was easy to complete. A plug and play harness. I'm very pleased with my purchase, the cost was less than at other places and there was free shipping! What else do you need?!

I needed to wire my Kia Sportage for a trailer. The dealership wanted to charge me 250 bucks for the wiring harness. I checked online to see how hard it would be. etrailer had a video showing their product and its EXACT installation. Part numbers, How to on my vehicle. And 65 bucks. It was EXACTLY as they showed. Down to every screw.
Hitch installation was easy. The wiring was more challenging but no splicing and the instructions guided us through the whole process. Hitch and lights both work great and have had no problems at all since installation.
I successfully installed the Curt wiring harness a couple days ago. The etrailer videos and instructions were excellent and invaluable to me. I did find it challenging to fish the 10 gauge power wire from the rear bumper area to the battery. etrailer installation photos were excellent also. I'm waiting for the Curt connector tester I ordered yesterday to check out the Curt wiring system before I rent any trailers.

Simple install - Quality product!
The wiring harness was well put together and easy to install. The instructions provided were a little difficult to follow, but a quick online search on the web site and a video later and I was on my way to a finished product.
Received the package today. In these days of mediocre or no service, I was extremely happy with the speed of the order. Just hours after placing the order I was notified it had shipped. The map showing where it came from and the destination was a nice touch. Good quality product that I will install on my 2020 Kia Sportage. Thank You

Plug in broke while I was on the road. I had to buy a new harness at a parts store and rewire it myself in order to continue on my way and have lights on my tear trailer
Works great. Installation was easy.
Comprehensive kit. Wish the instructions were a bit more detailed for my vehicle, i.e. "Remove taillight screws" but didn't mention that there is a cover on the taillight that covers acces to the screws. Just showed the taillight with the cover removed. Not a huge deal, but it can be difficult sometimes to remove these things when you are afraid of breaking something on your new car. Everything else came together well.

Easy install, very complete & professional kit with effective instructions. The video link mirrored the instruction and was informative on a few of the finer details. 2 hour install for me, that included letting the black silicone setup. Running the power wire to the battery is a pain in thebutt without a lift, but very doable.

After one year of service, its still performing as when new. Highly recommended product.
After purchasing a new Kia Sportge last year from on the sales lot I was unable to obtain a hitch or light hook-up from them. I was able to get a hitch installed locally--but still no luck on lights--imagine Kia not having access to these services!! So I went on line & easily found the etrailer.com website. I had no problem finding the exact kit for my year & model Kia--it was shipped promptly & I had the same business install it that did the hitch. Thank you etrailer!! (this review from a "senior" female not too computer or vehicle savvy!!)

What is your year, make, and model? Can you please further explain by what you mean by "fired my stuff"? Or do you mean that it fried your electrical? I would like to learn more so I can figure out exactly what happened.
The wiring harness fit perfectly and the direct plug adapters made the job simple and quick.

This wiring harness is the perfect compliment to my Curt hitch receiver. I love the length of the cable and it stays tucked away into the spare tire compartment in the rear portion of the vehicle.

As a person who grew up having to cut and solder back connections to wire up a harness. This set up is probably the fastest and easiest harnesses I have ever installed. I would recommend this to anyone.
