Replacement Short Arm Assembly For Carefree Awning

Question:

I have a Carefree of Colorado awning arm model 46 JVAP-MP black. The awning is 25x8, wall bracket is 54, outside arm is 50. The picture of the of the arm looks the same as my arm where the motor mounts. I have measurements of 2 1/2 wide and 2 1/8 high. Would the arm work and motor mount or would you have any other options?

I took a look at your Carefree Model 46 JVAP-MP, and the Replacement Support Arm Assembly for Lippert Edge 58" Awning you mention will only work as a replacement for the Lippert Edge awnings.

Since you have the a Carefree awning, you'll want to check out the Replacement Short Arm Assembly for RV Awnings # LC404523 which is compatible with your awning.

You will need to ensure that you have a minimum of 2-1/2" between the top of your door and the awning rail as well as have the 63" required height for the arms to mount on the side of your awing tube

This arm assembly is a bit larger however It should still work fine with your setup.
