Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Solera Replacement Idler Head Pin. This is going to replace the pin that secures the idler head assembly to the awning arm for your Solera RV awning. This is going to work for all Solera RV awnings. So if you are needing to replace that idler head pin, this is going to be exactly what you need. Because this is a Lippert product, the same company that creates the Solera awnings, you can trust this is gonna fit right in place of the original.
No worries about compatibility issues or anything like that. But just to give you a little bit more reassurance, you can see that this is going to be just over four inches. I'm gonna call it 4 1/8 of an inch long, and it is approximately 1/2 inch in diameter. So if you are needing to replace that original idler head pin, this is going to be exactly what you need. I thought it was direct replacement item. Retainer Hole is not threaded like the original part.

the idler head replacement pin for my Solera awning, arrived on time and was perfect fit. the snap rings went right on, and the grooves were in the correct location.
Perfect fit. However my original idler pin was not bent like I had thought. Replacing the pin didn't fix the wobble in the awning arm, but replacing the three screws that attached the end cap did. My OEM assembly lacked a wrist pin inside the end cap. I installed one for added security above having just the wax screw retainer.
