This 17' Optronics flexible LED light strip gives you bright, even white lighting indoors or outdoors without worrying about weather damage. The sonically sealed, waterproof exterior protects the 300 diodes from the elements, so it holds up in damp or outdoor environments. Each strip produces about 171 lumens per foot, drawing just 2.7 amps at 12 volts for energy-efficient performance. It’s a single-color setup that provides strong, consistent illumination with a slightly cool white tone.
You don’t need special converters or adapters—this light strip connects directly to any 12-volt power source using its built-in 2-wire pigtail (18-gauge wires). It can even be wired straight to a battery without damaging the LEDs since the operating voltage range of 11–14V is safe. Use it with a standard on/off switch or an LED-compatible dimmer if you want to control brightness.
You can trim this LED strip exactly where you need it. It can be cut at marked points every 1-15/16" or about every two inches for precise sizing. Both ends include short wiring leads, so you can cut it in half and power each section individually. If you need more coverage, you can chain multiple strips together using snap-on connectors like the Optronics #A90P1B or attach new leads to trimmed sections with the #A90PB connector.
Mounting is as easy as peeling off the adhesive backing and pressing the strip into place on any clean surface. No drilling or hardware required. The slim 3/8" width fits tight spaces and curves easily around corners or contours. When removing or repositioning, mild heat from a hair dryer softens the adhesive for clean removal without damage.
There are no bulbs to replace and no fragile filaments to fail—the LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights while using less power. Optronics backs the LEDs with a lifetime warranty, giving you dependable lighting that’s built to last wherever you install it.

'White' lights are more purple than white when installed. Will use these temporarily until I can find a set of true white lights in a store. Service from etrailer.com was exceptional - 5-stars. This strip is an excellent substitute for those available from more expensive OEM awning manufacturers. Can be used to install in the roller rube or along the sidewall of RVs. These lights have a great adhesive and the light output is amazing. I keep a couple of these on the service truck.

I recently replaced our faulty RV trailer strip lights with multi-color, fancy strip lights from a big box store only to find out they were much too dim to be functional. I decided to pull off these new lights and replace them with these etrailer white lights. They are as bright as we hoped they would be. They do have a purplish tint to them, that other reviews have mentioned , but my wife and I both enjoy the color as well as the brightness!

Perfect light replacement for awning. This may be all you need. Take a careful look before buying the much overpriced entire strip replacement. Instead this slide in bulb may be all you need for much less money. Release silicon hell on far end and one screw at attachment end and slides out MEASURE AND TRIM FROM FREE END BEFORE YOU SLIDE IN TRACK. this can be a $20 part instead of $60

Bright white light with excellent adhesive strip. It would be better if an explanation on how to terminate wires at the end.
Overall, these are fit for purpose of providing lighting for a truck bed. I was lucky enough to have a rigid tonneau cover on my bed, and the light strips fit perfectly stuck to the bottom of the mounting rails. I cleaned the underside of the rails first with carburetor cleaner, and they seem to be adhering well. Since both ends of the 17’ strip had leads, I cut to length for the sides of the bed only. I had originally wanted to turn the corners at the front of the bed and have the strip wrap around, but this strip does not have flexibility to do that and remain neatly hidden. I also added an on/off switch, and I’m pretty happy with the results, though there is that bluish tint as reported on some reviews, and I wouldn’t complain if they were a bit brighter. Better than fumbling in the darkness though!!

After a year, the lights are still working great, and there has been no adhesion problem whatsoever.
Nice having pigtales on both ends. If 17’ is longer than you need you can use the remainder somewhere else.
I just installed yesterday, we’ll see how long it works. The adhesive seems like it will last a while.
Worked great for my 24' enclosed trailer. Made two strips along the ceiling support. The 16.5' length allowed for two 8' strips with little waste and preinstalled leads for each section (Roll had leads on each end). 3M tape attached great to the supports with no other attachments. Powered by a small UB1250 12 volt battery or the truck battery when connected, lit up the trailer very well. Price was also better than anywhere else I could find.

This Optronics Flexible LED light strip is Extra exceptional. It went into my existing trac on my motorhome awning with no issues. All I had to do was solder my pigtail off the old lights to this new one, cut off about 6 inches, Weather-proof the cut and plug it in. Much brighter than my original light strip!
These won’t work for my application. Looking for replacements on RV Awning but these are designed to be concealed while in use. Jayco has provided part number 0297608 LIGHT,LED AWNING CAREFREE 26" LEAD FOR 18' AND OVER (LIGHT STRIP ONLY)
2-3 week lead.

Using these to replace under awning lights on my camper. Light strip came promptly, installed easily. The cut points every coupe inches made for easy fitting (only needed about 12 feet). Nice to have pigtail on both ends, remainder will be used, not sure just where yet. Too soon to comment on the adhesive, but it seems secure for now.
These strip lights are perfect for my project I have a new cargo trailer that am going to setup to run off a 20 volt DeWalt battery! These are going to light it up great. I sent my order, I got a message on my phone that they were sending, got a message telling me it was packed and shipped, got a message it was delivered.then it was here. Can't wait to put them in thank you so much!!!

These are very bright. They had an adhesive strip on the back and it has stayed stuck, which I thought might be a problem in the hot trailer in the summer months. They do use up a 9amp 20 volt Dewalt battery pretty quick. I would like to see how long a 9amp 60volt flex battery would lst but dont have one yet.

Installed easily into track. Pigtails at either end is a bonus as I needed only 12’ for the awning. I’ll use the remaining length for the pass through.
