This is going to replace the head pin needed for your Solera Power Awning Gear Drive Head. This is an exact replacement from Lippert, which is the same company that produces the Solera awning, so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original, you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. Perfect replacement for my needs
It didn't fit on one side but I can't return it because I tried to modify it to go in so I'm going to have to get two new heads for both side because the screws were rusted on the heads themselves so I broke them to get them apart
The pin fit perfectly, but the location of the retaining e-clip was a little off and allowed the pin to move in and out more than warranted. I compared it to the broken original pin and it was off by about 3/32 of an inch. I added a thick 1/2 washer to reduce the movement and all installed it. All is well.
I recommend them. They went above and beyond to get me my part after a shipping error. I don't have anything negative to say.

Well a year later, and no issues the piece has held up obviously better than the manufacturer part so that’s cool! Very happy with my purchase even after a year and countless trips.

Solera / Lipert is garbage. This piece was no good because the part it goes into is also broken (metal gear drive) and they don't sell that anymore by itself. I spoke with lipert directly and the only option is to buy an entire new head assembly for $600+ as they no longer will sell the gear assembly separately like they use to. (Which would be about $40 instead of $600. This is beyond bad customer service and bad ethics to not sell a part you know fails frequently, forcing someone to spend $600 in lieu of $40. I also asked lipert if the new $600 assemblies were at least built better to not fail right away and they said they did not make any design changes. Do yourself a favor and do not buy any lippert / solarea products.
The part is what I needed to fix my awning and etrailer was able to get it to me the quickest. I paid for quicker shipping but it came a day later then it was quoted.
I was told by my local RV dealer that I had to buy a replacement awning drive head assembly ($450+) because Lippert doesn't sell just the drive head pin. Surprise, surprise, I found the pin with etrailer's product expert. $45 is a whole lot less money!
this was a perfect fit for our broken drive pin. for our application i should've ordered one of the E clips as well. the factory doesn't have one next to the gear drive. no problem ran to hardware store and on our way! easy installation. dont be afraid of replacing this part on your own.

Still works perfectly. These pins look impossible to bend in high winds. The original pin did after an impact but this one seems to hold up well
