Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Solera replacement roller tube endcap. This is going to replace one black roller tube endcap on your Solera electric RV awning, and this is going to fit all of your Solera 12 volt, 18 volt, and smart arm electric RV awnings. And this replacement roller tube endcap, is the direct replacement from the manufacturer. So you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of your original, whether somehow that got damaged, maybe, or maybe even misplaced.

I needed this part asap so I choose express shipping and used my po box because I was moving. The next day I received a call explaining that express could only go to physical address. I explained my situation and stressed I needed it before Thurs because I was moving and needed to have my awning secure. Took quite a while to fill and to receive but quality product.
Fit perfectly. We ended up having to replace the motor too.
The screws do not come with the cap. In my case I needed both. Specialty screws were $7.00 each.
The pre-drilled holes in the part did not match my awning. I had to drill a hole so it would line up. Very easy fix I have not had any issues since I installed it I am satisfied

You have to have these to go with the tube for the upgrade. They completed the install update. I would make sure that anyone doing the upgrade knows that they need these too.
Somewhat tricky to change by myself but has worked great for over a year
Arrived in a timely manner using US parcel post. Havent installed yet but quality looks good. I am in Canada and had to pay $21 CDN duty whereas on earlier awning parts orders a couple of years ago it came in duty free....oh well sign of the times.
Everything about this order was so easy.
Product was great shipping was horrible was suppose to arrive Wednesday and it came in Friday shipping always said it was a facility so I called and the lady said that it had shipped and I checked shipping after the phone call and it said shipped so it was just sitting there and it came two days late not good anymore had to buy part somewhere else have to do better on the shipping

Haven’t had a chance to install yet.
The part itself seems to be ok but the roller tube it connects to is weak and the screws pull out which breaks the cap. As for etrailer.com they do a fantastic job of getting the part shipped and delivered quickly.
It worked well with my awning tube. great product it has been a year now after a long 4 plus of rving around the us and visited every single national park.

Nice well built replacement part. Minor modification was required to fit pulley on to shaft far enough to get retainer clip to go on.
Fast delivery, very happy with product.
prefect fit! I needed this part due to the pin and shaft going bad and made the hole for the screw that holds it to the shaft wallered out. This was the exact replacement and after a year is still holding up nicely!

Its been a year already and this has held up perfectly as expected. Its a quality made STEEL end cap and being full-time RVers its probably seen the equivalent of three lifetimes of use!
