Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a quick look at the replacement head pin for Solera power awning gear drive head. Now this is going to be a direct replacement from Lippert for your drive gear head, this is going to be the pin that actually turns that fabric roller so that you can get your awning rolled out and back in without any issues. So something happened, this got bent or damaged somewhere along the way, or as you we're trying to replace some other components, this got broken. This is going to be a direct replacement for that pin. It's a half inch diameter and it measures about four inches long, just for referenced there. Has a little hole there to connect to our Cotter pin for that fabric roller, and then there are these little channels for our clip to fit into. So related items that you might need with this would be the bushing, and also that retaining clip.
Now these two things are related products on the product page for this on etrailer.com, so if you need the bushing and the retaining clip, you can pick those up separately.Basically that clip just pops all the way down on there, I just don't want to push it on and then not be able to get it back off, but that's going to do it for our look at the replacement head pin for Solera power awning gear drive head. If you need any other replacement parts for any of your Lippert components, you can always check etrailer.com, and thanks for watching..

It works, however I had to cut another e-clip groove into it due to it being 100 thousandths off. Doesn’t sound like much but 1/8” is 125 thousandths. However this could be the correct groove spacing for another brand of awning motor. After the modification it works just as well as the new one.
Great customer service.
Delivered faster than the date quoted, that was great. The only issue was the pin didn't have two flat side to fit into the gear box, so I had to use a grinding wheel to fit.
Excellent service! Product quality, fit and finish is great! Installed without any problems. Will use eTrailer again!
This drive pin should be solid metal not a tubular center.
The end strips and eventually rounds itself and fails.
Good prices and very quick delivery.
Exactly what I needed and quick shipping
Pin was correct part to fix our awning
You sent the wrong one , it looks like the idler pin
part fit perfectly
Perfect fit, excellent help, prompt delivery, thank you
These were a perfect fit for the Solero awning mechanism.
My old ones failed (rusted in two, drive pin). after 9 yrs in the weather in Florida.
Glad it’s repaired.
Excellent!!
Worked perfectly!!
After a little modification it finally went together !!
The drive head and drive shaft did not go together.
It would have been nice to know this before they were shipped out to me.
Breanna is amazing!
She knew what I needed better than I did!
Parts arrived late thanks to USPS not trailer!
Thanks again!
Back together and going!
Perfect replacement!I can't believe the original one rust through so quickly.
First part got lost in shipping replacement part was wrong part. The third part with same part # was the right one
My rating is confusing because you weren’t able to supply the correct pin. But your customer service was excellent. I worked with Alex, Noah, and Austin, and all three were extremely helpful. So I have to give one star on the part, but five stars for your customer service. I will certainly continue to use etrailer.
It only had one shoulder on the head of the pin, not the required two. Since I had the whole awning apart, I have to make it fit with a grinding wheel
Replacement for the Solera 3000 on our 2026 trailer. Pretty straightforward installation.
Everything went fine. I made the repairs myself ... $35 vs $465 from Lippert. I had to modify the pin a little since it had only one flat on the motor end but needed two ... no big deal.
This part saved me hundreds of dollars!!! I was replacing my awning fabric and found the shaft was badly damaged. A new motor was like 300.00 I did some searching found this site and this part, with a little disassembly I was able to replace the damaged shaft with this new one. it's been a year now and still going strong!!! Highly recommend this part if you need it!

Still going strong!
Didn’t want to respond until it was mounted and repaired. Fit perfect. Works as it should. I have made several purchases from etrailer and have never had a bad experience.

Oh wow! Looks like you changed out that pin just in time. I'd say it was holding onto hopes and dreams by the time you swapped it out. I'm glad the new pin was a perfect fit and did the trick for ya!
In stock and quick shipping. Perfect fit, easy to install. Thank you!

That's great, Bruce! Glad everything is on the up and up with the awning again. How has Florida weather been, by the way? Unusually cool like it's been here in Missouri?
