Is There an Adapter for Lance Truck Bed Camper to Standard 7-Way Trailer Connector

Question:
I have a 2000 Lance cabover camper with a 7 pin 6 outside/1 center female plug. Just bought a new truck and RV store installed a 7 blade male plug in the bed of the truck. Do you have an adapter?

Expert Reply:
The older Lance truck bed campers use a proprietary plug and we don't have an adapter for this. We don't carry it but Lance does offer a matching vehicle side trailer connector for this but I recommend just converting the trailer connector on the camper to the standard 7-Way using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit part # HS381-9000. Please note, during installation you need to match wires by function, not color.
