Question:
I need a hub for my 1995 Ranger-Trail trailer. The bearings used are Timken, L68149-20024. The entire assembly part number is 9606020 but I just need the hub with races and studs, part number 33662. I dont know if that helps or if that includes races and studs. I know this is going to sound odd but years ago Ranger Boat told me this is the same brake pad set as a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim, Sundance, Dodge Daytona or Spirit.

While the # L68149 most likely corresponds to the inner bearing number of your hubs. If this is the case, you have either a 3.5k or a 4.4k axle.
In order to know absolutely sure, you need to know the corresponding outer bearing number or the inner and outer diameter of the grease seal. You most likely need to wipe away the grease in order to reveal the outer bearing number. In order to accomplish this, I recommend using calipers like the Feedback Sports Digital Caliper - 0" to 6" Range # 301-17068.
I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows you where to read the outer bearing number and to measure the inner/outer diameter of the grease seals.
Question:
The spindle I have is # 84. Does that help?

Definitely! If you have an # 84 spindle like the # TRU64FR, then you definitely have a 3.5k axle. The replacement inner race you need is the # L68111 and the replacement outer race you need is the # L44610.
For the studs, I am guessing you are referring to either the bearing caps or the grease caps. If you meant bearing caps, you need one of the following sets:
- Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 1980A-SS w/ Auto Check - Stainless Steel (Pair) # BB1980A-SS
If you meant grease caps, you need one of the following sets depending on if you have standard spindles or EZ lube spindles:
- Grease Cap, 1.988" OD Drive In for Standard Spindles - Qty 2 # RG04-020
- Grease Cap, 1.99" OD EZ Lube Drive in with Plug - Qty 2 # RG04-040
You most likely have 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern since they are the most common. For a complete hub kit, I recommend the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K (for EZ lube spindles) or the # 84546UC3 (for standard spindles).
