If the factory HFA sensor is covered by installing a hitch, is there a solution to keep it working?

If the HFA(Hands Free Access) sensor no longer works after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22HR on your 2022 Acura MDX, you can order the 08L91-TYA-200B from Acura that is designed to eliminate receiver hitch issues with the HFA sensor. I have not yet seen a complaint in any of our reviews that indicate interference with the HFA after installing the receiver.

I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK59VR when you install the receiver. This harness will give you a 4-way flat connector needed for most small trailers as well as Auxiliary Lights # C53201. The additional lighting is needed if you are carrying a hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack that impairs the view of your tail lights on your MDX.
