The Malone Axis Load Roller for Malone Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender - 42" Long, part # MAL52VR, that comes with the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender with Load Roller, part # MAL32VR, is fixed in length. It does not extend in and out. You will have to remove this when the extender is at a length less than 42".
