  • Recommended Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for a 2" Hitch
Hey Kevin. We don't have a MPG907R part number. We have the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches item # MPG907. This load extender attaches to your truck's 2" receiver and extends out 53" from your hitch pin hole. It has a 375 lbs capacity and can be raised up between 55-1/2" to 62-1/2" to line up with a ladder rack. What are you planning on using the load extender for? You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Reply...

  • Recommended Bed Extender for Carrying Two Kayaks w/ a Short Bed Truck
Hey Andrew. The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender item # MPG907 and the Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender item # FHG89ZR are practically identical. Not sure they would be the best option for 2 kayaks though. They each max out at 48" wide so you'd want to compare this distance to the width of your kayaks at different angles to see if they would fit. If you run into size issues with the width, I recommend using the Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender item # Y01149. This...

  • What is Height Range of Malone Axis Truck Bed Load Extender # MPG907
Hey Rick, I can't speak for Malone but we measured from the top of the hitch opening to the top of the Malone Axis part # MPG907 and found the height range to be between 15 and 22 inch. I also made sure that when we took this measurement it was the most current version of this rack as it has been updated over the years.

  • Will Malone Axis Work With Kayak on 2021 GMC Acadia
Hi Sandra; What exactly do you mean by will I need an extender arm? The Malone Axis # MPG907 has eight height settings from 55-1/2" to 62-1/2". I can't say for sure if that will work with your 2021 GMC Acadia so I recommend measuring up from your hitch to see if that lines up with your crossbars. It is also 28" to 48" wide so you will need to make sure that works with your kayak.

  • Can Yakima LongArm Extender be Used for Long Kayak and 5-1/2 Foot Bed Truck
The Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender # Y01149 is a great solution for hauling a longer kayak with your 2019 Ford F-150 5-1/2' bed. When in the fully-extended position the LongArm sits out 48" from the center of your hitch pin hole which means you should have roughly 5' of canoe sitting past that. You can use the Crossbar Pad # Y07417 and some Straps # Y05006 to secure your kayak to the extender. If you'd feel more comfortable with something a little longer then you can use the Malone...

  • Load Extender Options For Carrying Kayaks
Of your options they all are going to get the job done. If you're wanting something that looks the best I would go with the Yakima LongArm Extender # Y01149. If you're not concerned with the looks go with the Malone Axis # MPG907. It has more ground clearance in it's lowest setting but it's width is only adjustable from 24 inches to 48 inches so it may not be wide enough for your application. The Erickson # EM07605 has a 51 inch width so be sure to measure your kayaks width to see which...

  • Front Mount Hitch and Load Extender To Support Kayak on 2007 Toyota Sequoia
There is no reason why you couldn't install a front mount hitch and and add a front load bar to help support your Kayak and create more clearance between it and your travel trailer. The front mount hitch I recommend for your 2007 Toyota Sequoia is the Draw-Tite 2 Inch Custom Fit Front Mount Hitch Receiver # 65080 and for the load bar, the # MPG907 you were looking at is an excellent choice with plenty of capacity to support your 22 foot kayak.

  • Malone Bed Extender Width Capacity
The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches - 375lbs Item # MPG907 has load stops that can adjust from 28" to 48" so you'll have a very snug fit hauling your 4' wide plywood.

  • Recommended Longest Load Extender For Hauling Kayaks In A Short Bed Truck
The longest option is going to be the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches # MPG907, which has a 53" length from the hitch pin hole to the furthest point on the extender. This extender comes with a 375lb load capacity but you'll still want to verify the tongue weight capacity of your truck's hitch. Since you're wanting maximum length I recommend also picking up the Erickson Mesh Safety Flag w/ Bungee Cord # EM05308 as there typically are local or state laws about...

  • How Far Out Does the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender # MPG907 Extend
On the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender # MPG907 the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest edge on the carrier is 53 inches. So to the nearest part of the up right it will be approximately 51 inches. By my calculations your 10 foot, 5 inch kayaks will overhang the bed by 41 inches. That means if you were to slide the kayaks all the way in the upright on this carrier would still be about 10 inches away. All of the similar extenders are a bit too long...

  • Can a Load Extender be Used to Carry Kayaks Out of an SUVs Hatch
A load extender like the Malonel Extender, part # MPG907, isn't really intended to carry a load sticking out of the hatch of an SUV like that but it would work the same. This extender at its widest is 48 inches so you need to make sure this is enough space for both your kayaks. The extender has reflective tape on the back but there isn't a flag included. You can use part # EM05308. Then to lock and hold the extender to your hitch receiver I recommend an anti-rattle lock # 63232.

  • Carrying Kayak On Roof Vs. Truck Bed with Malone Axis Truck Bed
The kayak can indeed be carried in the truck bed and then the bow/stern secured with a load extender like the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender part # MPG907. The only downside of this option as opposed to securing the kayak to the roof is that you lose bed space. The great thing about the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender is that is can be used when securing the kayak to the roof as well if you change your mind.

  • How To Haul Two 10' Kayaks In The Bed Of A Truck
In order to haul two kayaks in your 2016 Toyota Tacoma without placing them on the roof of your vehicle, you will need to use a load extender such as the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender part # MPG907 if the bed of your truck is empty. The extender can be positioned for both vertical and horizontal load extensions. In your case, you will want to place the kayaks flat in the bed. This will not interfere with your tri-fold tonneau cover and will safely allow you to haul the two...

  • Recommended Kayak Carrier for Rhino-Rack Crossbars on 2022 Ram 2500 Truck Bed
The Rhino-Rack # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 has 71" crossbars so you will have plenty of room to add a kayak carrier with the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack # Y22DJ. The Rhino-Rack Kayak Roof Rack # S512-S512X you looked at would be a great choice, especially if you want to carry 2 kayaks. A J-style carrier will maximize your space, and if you're only carrying one you can remove the extension arms. However, if you only have 1 kayak the # S510 would be a better choice. Depending on the kayak and...

  • How To Safely Carry A Kayak On 2012 Toyota Prius C
The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender - 2" Hitches # MPG907 would certainly fit the 2" receiver on your 2012 Toyota Prius C. If I am understanding you correctly, you are wanting to leave the rear hatch opened so that the kayak can be sitting inside your car, and then use this load extender to support the rear of the kayak. This may work as it is definitely designed to help support loads that extend past the vehicle, however, I am not sure that this would be the best option as...

  • Is Anti-Rattle Device Needed for Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender
The anti-rattle bracket that comes with the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender # MPG907 isn't a necessity but it is good to have as it reduces the amount of movement you'll see with the extender so I definitely recommend using it. You can also swap it out for a tool-free anti-rattle device like the Curt # C27UR or Brophy # RHSB to help speed things up. Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

Your vehicle and your intended goal are not exactly "friendly" to one another: the awning blocks one side of the roof, the vehicle's height poses a physical challenge to loading and unloading boats. The Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 450 lbs - Black # TH500XTB you referenced is a great start, but a 32 foot ladder will require additional support. I recommend also adding the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches - 375 lbs # MPG907 or the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for Truck Bed or Roof - 350 lbs, # EM07605 to give you additional support on either the front or back of your vehicle. If the inside of the tailgate opening (jamb to jamb) is 60-1/2 inches, the bed extender would fit.
