Question:

I have a 2020 Hyundai Tucson with a 4 pin wiring harness installed and it works fine. Im looking at buying a small travel trailer with an electric brake. Is the installed 4 pin wiring harness plugged into a 7 pin adapter enough to operate the Echo wireless brake controller to activate the trailer brake? Simply put: If I buy this controller and a 7 pin adapter will the trailer brakes work? I hope the answer is yes! Thank you.

We have a pretty simple kit designed specifically for use with the Curt Echo # C51180 to convert a 4-way to a 7-way and have all of the needed circuits active for the Echo to function with the # ETBC7L which is a simple 4-way to 7-way adapter that also includes the needed wiring for activating the 12 volt accessory circuit that the Echo needs.
