7-Way Recommendation for 2022 Hyundai Tucson for Install of Brake Controller

Hey there, Im looking to get this 7-pin connector for my 2022 Tucson for my trailer with breaks. From my understanding all the wiring is already installed if I use the factory connector. Im also looking to get the Redarc TowPro RED52VR as the controller. I cant find any documentation on how to install the break controller with the factory wiring. Would these two parts work with my vehicle? Would I need to run a break wire to the controller? Thanks Team!

Hey Martin, since your plan is to install a brake controller the 7-way kit you'd need on your 2022 Hyundai Tucson is the Tekonsha part # TK44ZR which comes with the needed brake controller wiring. The Curt does not have that so it wouldn't be what you'd want.
Then you'd be able to wire in the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED52VR that you are wanting as well.

Hey Martin, how did things go with the Tekonsha wiring harness and the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty on your Tucson? Your results could really help others trying to wire a brake controller with the factory setup.
