Question:

Hello, I just bought a used Dexter axle. Im looking for a bearing kit and maybe hubs if thats possible. Its a P-21 M#SLR S# D 0288841 Im not 100 sure of that 4 in the serial number. The tag is not very readable there. Im pretty sure its a #3500lb axle. 5 on 4 1/2. Thanks for the help!

We do have idler hubs as well as hub and drum kits with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern that fit a 3,500 lb Dexter axle; depending on if you want the idler or hub and drum, you can use one of the following:

- Idler Hub: Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500 lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # 84545BX

- Hub and Drum: Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500 lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # 84546UC3

These do come with the bearings you need, but if you also need the other parts, those are the Cotter Pin # 165649, Spindle Nut # 165686, and Washer # SW1000.

I also recommend the Bearing Packer # PTW1218 and LubriMatic Mini Grease Gun Kit with Multi-Purpose Grease # L30132.
