Question:

I have a 2022 Highlander XLE and I need a trailer hitch that fits it. Do you have one for the XLE? I hope you do. I'm going to need it for my trailer before long so I don't know what I'll do if one isn't available. Thanks for helping me out if you can.

For towing with your 2022 Toyota Highlander XLE, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR. This custom fit, Class III hitch has a 2" receiver as well as a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look. It features a rugged, matte black finish for rust protection which helps hide dirt and dings better than a glossy finish. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs, tongue weight of 500 lbs, and is made in the USA.

Since you will be towing you will also need wiring. For the most reliable wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR. This plugs into existing wiring to give you a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.

In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
