Can I change the 2inch ball on the Blue Ox #BLU36FR to a 2-5/16inch ball? My trailer has a 10,000 GVW and 2-5/16inch ball, but I only lightly load the trailer, to 4,000 lb. I dont want to use a higher rated hitch if it will make the ride rough. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the Draw-Tite 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-3/4" Long Shank item # 19286 will fit the Blue Ox item # BLU36FR weight distribution systems head. That system is only rated for 6,000 lbs maximum trailer weight and 600 lbs tongue weight so you will want to ensure you do not load your trailer to its 10,000 lbs capacity.
