Which Roadmaster Tow Defender Fits with Roadmaster MX Direct Connect Base Plates

I purchased and installed the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # 921-3, then purchased and triedinch to install the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening Item # RM-4700. The Defender says Not compatible with EZ5, MS, or MX series base platesinch but I dont see any references on the base plates page to show that it is in this series. The Defenders bar is too wide to fit into the connection points of the base plate. Is there an adapter I also need to purchase? Did I do something incorrect?

I do have a solution for you and you are correct that the Roadmaster Tow Defender # RM-4700 is not compatible with the Roadmaster # 921-3 base plates, since those are direct-connect base plates in the MX series. The series/model of the base plate is listed at the bottom of the product page with the Roadmaster part number, but it is a bit difficult to find if you're not specifically aware it's there-so we do apologize for the confusion.
With that said, you can use the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750, which will work with the direct connect baseplates # 921-3.
