Installing Redarc Tow Pro Elite Knob on Dash of 2019 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I have decided to install the REDARC Tow-Pro Elite brake controller in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. My question is about the optional mounting plate for it, item 331-TPSI-002. Please see the attached picture. I want to install the brake controller knob in the blank spot all the way to the right of the buttons. That blank spot is a bit taller than those next to it. The mounting plate item 331-TPSI-002 appears to be for the smaller buttons not the taller one. Is that right? If thats right, is there another one that fits the taller spot? Thanks

The mounting plate part # 331-TPSI-002 that you referenced is not going to be the right size for the knock out plates on your 2019 Toyota Tacoma but you could drill a small hole in the unused one that you have and install the knob on it and it would essentially be the same thing.

The correct install harness for the Redarc Tow Pro part # RED44FR is the part # RED99FR.
