Is There Trimming Required to Install Draw Tite Hitch DT79MR

Have read several reviews. Does seem to be a question if trimming is required on this hitch. Will be installing on 2021 Honda CRV. Thank-you

When installing the Draw Tite hitch part # DT79MR there is trimming required of the rear fascia to allow the hitch opening to pass through.

If you watch the install video I attached you can see the trimming outlined.

Hey Sean, if the Draw Tite hitch you have is the #76128 it's not supposed to fit the hybrid models so that would be why you are having the problem you mentioned. The Draw Tite part #DT79MR is instead the one that fits the hybrid models.
