This durable aluminum cargo carrier is lightweight and rustproof. The carrier conveniently folds up and out of the way when it's not in use. And pre-drilled tie-down holes in the sidewalls let you secure your gear.

Quick delivery. Easy to assemble. Perfect for my application on a 5th wheel.
Assembly was fast and easy with minimal tools required. This carrier is so much lighter than the full steel carrier I last used. Easy to carry with one hand and it feels plenty stout with two heavy bins fully loaded with firewood. Two thumbs up!
It takes two people to assemble this carrier. But good quality.
Went together easily
For the most part a good value. I actually added tail lights just to make it a bit more noticeable as we used it to carry our recumbent trikes.
Very lightweight and easy to assemble. Seems very strong and tight fitting, time will tell.
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
A great basket for the price. Consider adding reflective tape, as well as adding a hitch tightener to prevent the basket from swaying side to side. Here are my photos
Easy to put together. Super lightweight especially if you leave off the turn buckle . I bought it for my truck camper and it will do the job I need it to do .
Good instructions, easy assembly, light weight, works well. Wish they offered an LED tail light kit for it, have to make my own kit.
Great product. Easy assembly perfect size and weight. I've ordered several products from etrailer. Shipping, customer service and install videos are great!
I added reflective tape seen in picture.
Thanks
Purchased this to replace almost identical unit I’ve had for 17 years I just have to my son. Old unit was all aluminum. The new is steel on structural parts. Heavier but stronger.
I use to haul sewer hose box, steps,
Grill, camp chairs firewood.
I have sent you a picture of the completion of the carrier it was easy to put together it's lightweight I have back problems easy to put together and well worth the price can't wait to use it John K
The Cargo Carrier was easy to assemble. The fact it's aluminum and not steel makes it light weight and easy to handle compared to the steel counterpart. The nice size makes it handy to store in the box of the pick-up or fold up on the hitch. Endless applications, just stay under 500 pound loads.
I just did 800 miles with this cargo carrier and had no problem, but make sure you purchase the anti rattle pin because it has some play in the hitch.
The carrier is sturdy and lightweight just as advertised.
I was looking for a cargo carrier I could use to carry a few items on a longer road trip. I wanted one that would allow the back doors to open on a Nissan NV200 (when the carrier is unloaded). This one has enough clearance to allow the doors to open when you don't have gear on it. I was seeking aluminum for lighter weight. I like the design which has an aluminum tray but steel brackets.
This Curt folding aluminum cargo rack is wonderful. I sold my plain steel non-folding rack because it was getting too heavy for me to lug around and it also consumed too much parking space. This is much lighter and works great on the front and rear hitches on my motorhome as well as my Jeep. Some assembly required, but straight forward. It appears to be a very well built rack and will carry items like my 4K generator, wood, and other camping items.
Very light weight and reasonably simple to build out of the box. Nothing fancy, but tray is sturdy and well made. Happy with my purchase.
I chose this carrier due to being the lightest weight for its size and load rating. Additionally, I was looking for a dual purpose carrier to haul bulky items outside the vehicle and full sized mountain bikes. The carrier is simple to assemble, easy to install/remove, and store. As for hauling mountain bikes, I added a fork axle mount to a piece of oak. Bottom line - for less than the price of dedicated hitch bike rack with the optionality to haul firewood and fuel to the trailhead it's worked great.
Instructions were good product is excellent. Product arrived ahead of schedule and I was able to get it assembled shortly thereafter. Check my photos. My hitch clamp would not work with the product and I need a storage box.

excellent Product Assembly was easy and it does the intended job. Its light and folds easily.
Lightweight and easy to assemble. Only issue is the side to side and up and down movement when installed. A hitch clamp will stop the vertical motion but still have the concerning side to side movement.

These can have a bit of movement when they are installed, but we do have ways to fix the up and down movement as well as the side to side movement. It is expensive, but check out the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II - 2" Hitches # BX88224. It will solve all your needs! What are you carrying in the carrier?
Easy to assemble and stays close to the vehicle when folded. Wish it didn’t shake around so much, but it’s not bad. I’ll probably try to put some washer or shims in it.
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.

Sweet! Where are you headed to next with the camper?

Everything about this rack is great with the exception of it aligning perfectly with my 2007 CRV exhaust. I just finished my first trip with the rack and it was a pleasure to use. However when we got home, our exhaust had melted one of our totes. We will have to look into solutions for this. Seen a few like heat shields and exhaust tips that push the air down.
