Question:
Connecting invisibrake to 2008 Honda Element, if I use bulb/socket for lights I see it says I don’t need diodes, does invisibrake connect directly to this and is this correct. What would you recommend

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Item # RM-8700 requires diodes to function properly and to ensure protection for both the towed lighting harness and the vehicle's electrical circuits. If you have bulb/socket lights you need to make sure that it's grounded to the chassis otherwise the Invisibrake will not function.
I've attached some info from the installation guide to help you with wiring in the the Invisibrake.
