Hey there Martin! Yep, if you're using a Furrion RV Observation Camera with your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Custom 4x4, you'll likely need the Furrion 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter with Power Switch part #FR87PR.
Newer Chevy and GMC trucks like yours don’t always send constant power to the trailer plug’s running light circuit, which the Furrion camera needs to turn on. This adapter fixes that by giving your camera the steady power it needs.
It’s super easy to use, just plug it in between your truck’s 7-way and your trailer’s plug. We have also had other customers with newer Chevy trucks say this adapter made their camera's work again. Please let me know if you have anymore questions by shooting me a comment below!

Hi Heather, Does this mean we no longer use the furrion monitor because the 7 adaptor will now enable the trailer camera to be paired to our screen in our 2025 Chevy 2500 HD? I am a little confused, we no longer have a cigarette plug for our fusion and we bought a usb connect that would show the camera view goin in and out, mostly out. Thank you,
