Replacement Bearings for EZ Loader Boat Trailer With 2700 lb Axle

Question:

We need to figure out what bearings or hub assembly is needed for out EZ Loader trailer. We can’t look at the old ones as they were worn right down. The VIN # is 1ZEAAAGC08A165170.

According to EZ Loader, you have a 2.7K axle that uses BT150A oil bath hubs. If you wanted to convert to grease-lubricated hubs, we have a replacement for you. I'd go with the # CE13315 which includes the inner and outer L44649 bearings, the races, the grease seal, the dust cap and lug nuts. The grease is even included. I prefer grease to oil bath hubs because oil bath hubs are much more prone to leaks and water intrusion than grease packed hubs.

If you just wanted to replace the bearings, you'd use the # BK1-150 bearing kit.
