Replacement Hubs for Boat Trailer with L44549 Inner and Outer Bearings

Question:

I am looking for a hub assembly to replace the 2 I have on a boat trailer. Bolt pattern is 5 x 4 1/2. The inner and outer bearings are the same and the number on them is L44549. Do you carry something that will replace my old hubs??

I'm guessing you actually have bearings # L44649 and you either mistyped or the bearing number is difficult to read. Having # L44649 as both the inner and outer is a very popular combination on 2,000 pound axles. If you need to verify to be sure this is what you have measure the inner diameter of the bearings with a digital caliper, like part # PTW80157. It should meaure 1.063 inches. I've also done some research and found that bearing L44549 has the same dimensions as # L44649 so it would still work for you.

If I'm right about the bearings then you can use part # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K for standard spindles or part # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K if you have E-Z Lube spindles. These are both galvanized idler hubs if your trailer doesn't have brakes. The galvanized finish is good for resisting rust and corrosion on a boat trailer.

If the trailer does have brakes and you need hub and drum assemblies instead use part # AKHD-545-2-2K for standard spindles or part # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K for E-Z Lube spindles.

If I'm wrong about the bearings and you do actually have L44549 that has a different measurement then unfortunately we do not have hubs that work for your trailer.
