Does etrailer Hitch e98848 Fit 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring

Question:

Hello, I have a 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring vehicle and would like to know if your e98848 trailer hitch is compatible with my car. Ive called a local trailer hitch shops and they have told me that my specific model does not have a trailer hitch available yet. Similar story with a local Honda dealer - they said a hitch isnt available at all for my model. I see on your website that some people have gotten this hitch to work with the 2020 version, but wanted to double check with you on the 2021. Also, my vechnicle has a hands free tailgate sensor opens by sticking your foot under the rear bumper. Will this hitch impact that functionality? Thanks,

Based on the manufacturer and our customer feedback we know that the etrailer hitch part # e98848 does fit the 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring models. We've found that people still retain of the hands free liftgate with this hitch installed but the manufacturer does recommend getting the Honda sensor relocation harness to move them to allow for better access to them.
