Can a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Be Flat-Towed

Question:

I have a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport and Im looking for a tow bar assembly that I can Flat Tow behind my motor home. Do you make such an assembly? If not, can you guide me to someone that would please. Thanks

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport cannot be flat-towed with all four wheels down per the owner's manual (Page. 238). That said, it can be towed using a tow dolly for which I recommend the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes part # DM9713045. It has disc brakes for increased stopping power, a foldable design for compact storage, and is made here in the USA.

How is a Bronco Sport towed on a dolly? Rear axle driveshaft disconnected or will transmission in neutral work?

Yes, if you have a 2021 Ford Bronco SPORT edition, which is front wheel drive, you can tow it using a dolly to put the front wheels off the ground. (Rear Wheel Drive and All Wheel drive cannot be recreational towed at all.) Ford only says to follow your tow dolly instructions.

@LesD The Bronco Sport is not available in front wheel drive. All trim levels are AWD, Ford's Towing Guide says no flat towing and no dolly towing for Bronco Sport.

On page 240 of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport owner's manual, in the section titled, "Recreational Towing – Front-Wheel Drive Vehicles" it says, "You cannot recreational tow your vehicle with all wheels on the ground because vehicle or transmission damage could occur. Place the front wheels on a two-wheel tow dolly" If you have All Wheel Drive the manual recommends, ". We recommend towing your vehicle with all four wheels off the ground.”
