This is a practical DIY job for anyone comfortable turning wrenches. The base plate bolts securely to the vehicle’s chassis, using factory mounting points whenever possible. No welding is required, and all necessary hardware comes in the box for a clean fit that lines up right the first time. Distance between brackets is 24" and bracket height is 17-1/2", so you can plan your towing setup around those specs.

You mentioned that you needed to do some grinding on the spacers to allow them to fit. I wanted to see if you could explain in more detail which spacers and what location.
